Minimalistic Windows Vista shell replacement?

Hello!

I want to find a skin, a style or whatever it is, for Windows Vista to make it as minimalistic as possible.

Small icons or maybe just text, mini task bar, mini start menu.

I already have the classic view and classic appearance (Gray and "sad"), and I have small icons enabled in the start menu. Nevertheless, I would like to make it even smaller ..!

I have checked various Web sites, but have not yet found any. The skins or themes they offer changes the color or transparency to the windows and task bar, not the size or "physical" attributes.

Thanks. I tried these and my Vista 64 crashed, and I had to boot it in recovery mode and replace the uxtheme.dlls and some other files..

You may want to try WindowBlinds. They have plenty of non-Aero looking minimalistic themes.

So I reverted back to they way my setup was before, classic view etc. but now I don't get to choose Aero. Not that I want to, but it kinda bugs me that it just disappeared. Anyone know what could've caused this?
