Did you know that now you can have up to three clocks to display the time in different time zones in Windows Vista?
Even if having three clocks to display three different times does not make sense to you, you might want to learn how to get it done just to be sure you know how to do it in case some time in future it makes sense to you
Steps:
1) Click right on the leftmost spot of your taskbar where it is already displaying your local time. A little box with a calender and a clock pops up.
2) Click on the link saying "
Change date and time settings"
3) In
Date and Time dialog box, click on the
Additional Clocks tab.
4) Click both
Show this clock check-boxes (or only one if you like)
5) Select desired time zones and name your clocks in
Enter display name input fields.
I chose the first clock to display the time in Greenwich mean time zone and named it GMT, other clock I randomly set to show the time in Perth time zone and named it Perth.
Exit the options dialog by clicking
OK button and click on left spot of your taskbar again. Ahh! Three cute clocks side by side doing exactly what we told them to do!
Hovering over taskbar clock will also display all of your clocks in a compact tooltip.
