darkstrydar, both of those theme for Windows XP, so they won't work on Vista.

Try one of these Windows Vista themes.

Hello everyone. I hope someone can help me apply this theme because it is driving me up the wall.I run Windows Vista Home Premium. I have downloaded and run VistaGlazz [plus the needed restart]. I have given myself ownership of the Resources folder. I have unzipped [or tried and failed] the RAR file to C://Windows/Resources/Themes. Instead, I had unzipped it to my desktop and tried to copy and paste. It did not work. Under themes in personalization, Vista claims that the theme is there, but it does not look like your It just has one of Vista’s Aero preloaded backgrounds. It seems like a really nice theme but it’s driving me up the wall and at this point, I hope it’s worth the time. Ive done this mistake which is pretty bad...
i followed the instructions and restarted my computer, after i log in it said it cudnt find the uxtheme.dll file and which nothing opens, so its jus a plain black screen.
I restarted with safe mode but all there is in the is jus black with a title and the words "safe mode" in four corners... how do i restore the stuffs to an earlier date..?? i have no idea wt ive done... Please help!

Print out the instructions and follow them step by step. There's nothing else I can explain in more detail.

Great tutorial, extremely helpful.

I had the black screen problem, but I managed to fix it by letting VistaGlazz do the work for me. Now I have a different problem. I download the theme, and I dont know where to load it in. Do I copy the entire theme folder into Windows/Resources/Themes, or just the style? I searched all over but I couldnt find any more detail about the last steps.

I am trying to install this them here: Aquos II by ~yoitzalvin on deviantART

And for anyone thats extract RAR's, I would recamend the .7z extractor instead. Its a much neater program, and is open source which I find less annoying. It can extract .7z's also. Just my preference.

I downladed VistaGlazz but when i go to patch the files it says that one or more vista glazz files are corrupt. I did it anyways and now its stuck on windows classic theme. Also, sometimes when i download a theme, its a .rar file and my comp. wont read it. What do i do about both these issues? Also, When i go to the themes option in my roporties, my Rundll32 stops working so i cant acces anything in properties. Help?
