Very nice. It doesn't contain Spyware, Adware anything like that does it ? I hope not, 'cause I've just downloaded it !!

I hope to hear from you soon!!

EDIT: Oh, and can it be deleted ? Can we go back to the original XP start menu or not ?

As far as I know it is spyware free.

There is no proper way to uninstall vistart, but you can go to task manager (right click task bar > task manager) and end the vistart.exe process, then delete the folder or move it to another place, then restart the computer.

And welcome to the forums, hope to see you around

OK, but where would I find the folder ? Would my start menu just disappear or would it go back to default XP ?

Thank you and I hope to hear from you soon !!

Forget it, you don't even need to remove the vistart folder. Just end the vistart.exe process, and once your start menu will go black, but don't worry, when our restart windows, it will be back to normal again.

You'll have to manually launch vistart whenever you want to change the start menu.

I did that, and it came up like this:

^^ like you said it would, and then I restarted, and ViStart keeps coming up and then changing back to XP a few minutes later, even though I've unchecked the Start With Windows box in the Options !! Grr !!

Thanks but any more ideas as to what I could do ? I've tried System Restore but they NEVER work !!
